• Account information: your email address and a hashed version of your password (we never store plaintext passwords).
• Site content: the pages, text, and configuration you create through the editor.
• Uploaded images: images you upload for use on your site.
• Usage data: basic request logs (IP address, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use your data

• Account management: to authenticate you, manage your session, and send transactional emails (verification, password reset).
• Site generation: your prompts and site content are sent to OpenAI to power the AI editing features. Only the content you provide in the editor is shared.
• Image hosting: uploaded images are stored on DigitalOcean Spaces and served to visitors of your published site.
• Stock images: when you request stock images, we query the Unsplash API on your behalf.

Third-party services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate aleksa.me:

• OpenAI — AI-powered site editing and content generation.
• DigitalOcean Spaces — image storage and delivery.
• Resend — transactional email (verification, password reset).
• Unsplash — stock image search.

Each service processes only the minimum data necessary for its function.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data, site content, and uploaded images. Some data may persist in backups for a limited period.

Your rights

• Access: you can view all your site content and account info through the dashboard.
• Deletion: you can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Export: you can copy your site content at any time from the editor.
